Kyuubi Visionary - Unchained Monk Archetype

Bonus Feats

The Kyuubi Visionary gains their mystical tails gradually as they fight. A Visionary gains the Magical Tail Feat every time a Monk would normally receive their Bonus Feat. When the Visionary has taken Magical Tail 8 times, they may choose from the Monk Bonus Feat list or Magical Tail again.
This feature replaces Monk Bonus Feats

Evoke Ki

The Nine-Tailed Fox is highly regarded for its Magic, and the Kyuubi Visionary is no exception to this. Starting at first level, 4th, and every four level after, a Visionary may pick a spell from the Sorcerer/Wizard spell list to adopt as a Spell-Like Ability. The Spell-Like Ability is WIS-based and may be used 2/day. This must be a 1st level Spell from the Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, or Transmutation lists. Starting at level 8, and every 4 levels after, the Visionary may pick a spell one level higher (2nd, 3rd, etc.) as a Spell-Like Ability.
This feature replaces Stunning Fist.

Magical Fist

A Kyuubi Visionary's signature technique. When a Kitsune uses Flurry of Blows, they may cast one of their Spell-Like Abilities (From Evoke Ki, Magical Tail, or any SLA they possess) as one of their attacks. This spell can be used as any attack the Kitsune sees fit, and must have a casting time of Standard or less.
This replaces the 5th level Style Strike.

Mystic Recall

As a Swift action, a Kyuubi Visionary may recharge their own Spell-Like Abilities for further use. By expending 1 Ki Point/Spell Level, the Kitsune restores one use of their Spell-Like Ability.
This replaces the 8th Level Ki Power.

Kyuubi Visionary Unchained

The Kyuubi Visionary is a Kitsune Monk who uses Ki to grow more tails. Unchained, a Visionary becomes more versatile in mixing Sorcerer Magic with a Monk's powerful Flurry of Blows.

Bonus Feats:

The Kyuubi Visionary gains their mystical tails gradually as they fight. A Visionary gains the Magical Tail Feat every time a Monk would normally receive their Bonus Feat. When the Visionary has taken Magical Tail 8 times, they may choose from the Monk Bonus Feat list or Magical Tail again.
This feature replaces Monk Bonus Feats

Evoke Ki:

Evoke Ki has changed for an Unchained Kyuubi. Evoke Ki still chooses from the Sorcerer/Wizard spell list, under the Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, and Transmutation lists. Same as the normal Archetype a well, the Visionary may choose from higher levels starting at 8th level and beyond. What has changed is to make Evoke Ki more versatile and useful for a Visionary. Each Spell-Like Ability starts with only 2 uses per day, but as the Kyuubi gains new spells, each of the previous Spell-Like Abilities increase by 1 additional use per day.
Alternatives: Work similarly to Artificer Spells.
This feature replaces Stunning Fist.

Nine-Tailed Strike:

Magical Fist is no longer just a Strike in the Unchained Kyuubi Visionary's arsenal. It is now its own Style. The Nine-Tailed Strike gives the Kyuubi Visionary the ability to cast Magic during Flurry of Blows in the same way that Magical Fist does. However, by adding Styles to the mix, a Visionary can truly mix their Spell-Like Abilities with various combat options in which to cast them. At Level 15, a Kyuubi Visionary may cast 2 Spell-Like Abilities and one Nine-Tailed Strike attack in addition to using one Style.
This feature replaces a Monk's Style Strikes.

Jinx Spin: A Kyuubi dazzles and confuses their foes by battering them with the multiple tails a Kyuubi has - while simultaneously casting Magic. Confounding their opponent, a Kitsune gains a +4 Dodge bonus against attacks made by the target until the end of their next turn. In addition, during Jinx Spin the Kitsune gains the Tail Slap natural attack with full Strength modifier. Depending on their choice, a Kyuubi may cast a Spell-Like Ability before, in the middle of, or after their tail barrage. Casting from a full Base Attack grants +0 Dodge Bonus against the Attack of Opportunity granted. Casting any time after grants +2 Dodge. Casting as the last Attack grants +4 Dodge.
Jinx Spin replaces Defensive Spin.

Kitsune Burst: A Kyuubi calls forth the ability to cast two times in one round. There are a few set-backs to using Kitsune Burst however. The spell must be the same as the spell casted. If it is an offensive Spell, it must be made at a -5 penalty and with the Merciful Metamagic effect even if the Kyuubi does not have this feat. If the Spell is used as the last attack, and it is an offensive spell, the second spell continues with its -5 penalty even if it goes below 0 BAB. This effect cannot be used with the 15th level Style Bonus to cast 4 spells.
Kitsune Burst replaces Elbow Smash.

Kyuubi Blast: When using Nine-Tailed Strike, a Kyuubi Visionary's Spell-Like ability becomes empowered by their tails. Through this empowerment, the Spell-Like Ability is able to go through Spell Resistance. Kyuubi Blast replaces Shattering Punch.

Tail Magic: A Kyuubi channels their Ki through their multiple tails, catching their target off-guard. When casting their Spell-Like Ability during their Nine-Tailed Strike, a Kitsune does not provoke Attack of Opportunity. When casting, a Kyuubi Visionary must have all of their tails free.
Kyuubi Blast replaces Leg Sweep.

Vanishing Act: By not casting a Spell during their Nine-Tailed Strike, a Kitsune may teleport instead. The teleportation only goes as far as their Fast Movement bonus. The teleportation must be made as their first Attack, or their very last - teleporting in the middle of their Nine-Tailed Strike immediately ends the attack. The Teleportation cannot be used to go through solid objects, cannot land in occupied spaces, and must be a minimum of 10 feet away from their original position. The Teleportation does provoke Attack of Opportunity upon exit, but not upon entry.
Vanishing Act replaces Flying Kick.

Vanishing Trick: Works as the opposite of Vanishing Act. By not casting a Spell during Nine-Tailed Strike, the Kitsune makes a Combat Maneuver check against their target (Using the BAB of the attack). If successful, the Kyuubi teleports the opponent a minimum of 5 feet away (+5 for every 5 achieved over the check). The limit of this teleportation is that the range is a cone based on where the Kyuubi faces the opponent. Like Vanishing Act, this provokes Attack of Opportunity from everyone adjacent to the Kitsune, excluding the target. The maximum distance a Kyuubi may teleport an opponent is based on their total Fast Movement bonus, the teleportation cannot be made through or into solid objects or occupied spaces. Nor can the Teleporation be used to place the target above their original height.
Vanishing Act replaces Knockback Kick.

Mystic Recall

As any action, a Kyuubi Visionary may recharge their own Spell-Like Abilities for further use. The amount at which a Kyuubi recharges is based on they action they make. The items listed aren't what the Kyuubi gains in total, but options. For example, a Standard Action with 3 Ki Points gives either 2 Level 4 Spells, or 3 Level 1 Spells. This replaces the 8th Level Ki Power and only works with the Spell-Like Abilities chosen for Evoke Ki.

Swift Action:
1 Ki Point - 1 Level 1 Spell.
2 Ki Points - 1 Level 2 Spell.
3 Ki Points - 1 Level 3 Spell.
4 Ki Points - 1 Level 4 Spell.

Movement Action:
1 Ki Point - 2 Level 1 Spells, 1 Level 2 Spell.
2 Ki Points - 2 Level 2 Spells, 1 Level 3 Spell.
3 Ki Points - 2 Level 3 Spells, 1 Level 4 Spell.
4 Ki Points - 2 Level 4 Spells, 3 Level 1 Spells.

Standard Action:
1 Ki Point -  2 Level 2 Spells, 1 Level 3 Spell.
2 Ki Points - 2 Level 3 Spells, 1 Level 4 Spell.
3 Ki Points - 2 Level 4 Spells, 3 Level 1 Spells.

Full Action:
1 Ki Point - 2 Level 3 Spells, 1 Level 4 Spell.
2 Ki Points - 2 Level 4 Spells, 3 Level 1 Spells.

This replaces the 8th Level Ki Power.

Ki Powers: A few powers in the Monk's list have been altered for the Kyuubi Visionary.

Alluring Voice: By spending 2 Ki Points, a Kyuubi Visionary may make an immediate to charm an opponent and confuse them as they attack the Kitsune or an Ally. If the target is within 30 feet and can hear the Kyuubi, they must roll an attack again. The target of Alluring Voice must take the second roll, even if the second attack hits.
Alluring Voice replaces Insightful Wisdom.

Foxfire: Foxfire creates a number of fireballs equal to 1/2 their Monk level (minimum of one) that surrounds the Kitsune like Dancing Lights. Dealing 1d6 damage, they have a range of 30 feet and can be thrown during Flurry of Blows, but not during Nine-Tailed Strike. Summoning these fireballs costs 1 Ki Point and requires a movement action. A Kyuubi Visionary must be 6th level before selecting this Ki Power. In addition, if a Monk selects Elemental Burst it automatically defaults to Fire Element.
Foxfire replaces Elemental Fury.
