Diamond Nuzlocke Rules
[1] When a pokemon faints it is dead
[2] No items during battle
[3] No running from battles
[4] No doubles, this includes evolutions
[5] Must catch first or try three times for a new route Pokemon. NO MORE THAN ONE PER ROUTE
[6] BS Clause, a one hit wonder crit is a no. 3 times can this clause be used.
[7] Shiny Clause, if shiny is found... It is special. Exception to [1] and [5], must be incorporated in team no matter how bad or good it has been. Cannot lead team unless it is to grind.

Adrian Collins 3/14 Weather sunny.

Well, today seems to be full of events and now I'm suddenly part of a research team... I don't know why mom is proud of me. Maybe to just finally get me out of the house and be do something worth while. I blame Tyrus for this really I call him a friend when he can be such a pain. It wasn't my idea to go to the lake. Then he dragged me along to see the suitcase that professor left. We got attacked! Well, at least that is when I met Nico, a Piplup who probably has too much confidence in himself. Well after we fought off those starlies and apologized to... what was her name? that assistant girl. We got dragged to that professor's lab, turns out he got back after four years about the same time I moved to my current house. I went back home and to rest but apparently since I used lab pokemon I either join the research team and help or get arrested for theft. Then Mrs. Hughes came in say Tyrus ran off again apparently to go on a pokemon journey... that idiot is going to get arrested one of these days without me. So I told both our parents we are now part of Prof. Rowan's research team and we were going to travel around the region. Mrs. Hughes was ecstatic but Mom looked a little hurt, maybe cause I'm not being a coordinator like her.

 Still I got stuck delivering Tyrus's town map to him... well it helped that I made a friend with a Starley called Ashley and her friend a Bidoff from the lake named Wallace.  They get along well with Nico... I wish I could say that. No, Ashley is motherly to Nico and Wallace is too thick headed to cooperate with anyone while Nico is just bossy. After passing the Lab again and... Rowan's assistant "taught" me how to catch wild pokemon for the research group as well as telling me not to go catching every pokemon I see, apparently something about needing field srudies as well. She gave the Shinx to me who I found out is the local pokemon gang leader of Shinx named Tom. Jubilife did not lift my spirits... Nearly had Tom killed from some punk's Abra who Nico beat the crap out of Scared the crap out of me, made me wish that I had bought some potions. Tyrus ran off and didn't listen to me at all about trying to be a researcher... something about a league challenge. That stuff they do on TV right? It's getting late and the pokemon center stops giving out rooms to trainers after 11.

Sorry, this isn't the greatest time to write but still, I finally I got through a few routes and caught a few pokemon notably an Abra named Levi. He was stubborn but he was nice to have around. I then caught Natalie, a zubat. Energetic, fun, full of promise... God's sweetest Zubat. I reached Oreburgh after several encounters with several hordes of Geodudes. Levi using hidden power (which I think is either Ice, Ground, or Grass) and Nico using bubble let us pass through the tunnel with relative ease allowing us to reach town. Tyrus, not surprisingly, reached the town before me and got his badge. He said the gym leader was out so... I went to explore the mines for a bit. I ran into a really Nice Onix named Rona who is a bit smaller than her normal for her species. She kindly helped me navigate the mines without much trouble seeing that I don't do well in caves. Wallace insistant bickering over food finally made me sent him to the Rowan to be looked after.

I then met gym leader which was awesome, I got him to go back to the gym so we could have our battle. Sadly Nico and Levi were the only two to battle the most trouble coming from some his Cranidos which Nico took down with ease. So I was now legally certified to use Rock Smash out in the field which is great since exploring netted me that HM. Jubilife city looked glum as ever and it didn't help while leaving. Tom was being picky with food again and it is was almost dark out so we decided to head into the Woods to find some shelter. I met this person who is easily as lost as I was and we battled pretty often at the cost of no catches for escorting. When we got to the exit she thanked me and I thanked her for the healing. That was when I met the Serial killer of the Forest, Sari. She acted nice until I asked for a good campsite... that crazy Murkrow nearly killed Rona who was EFFECTIVE against her. Still, Once catching her got me some unwanted attention of several pokemon I ran like hell out of the forest and into Tomas, who insisted I take him along... He never shut up about finding things... god I didn't sleep...

Well after finding a campsite and sleeping there for a til morning. I reached Eterna City... which i thought would be greener but turns out that they are about the same as Oreburgh, lots of dirt and rocks. I met this trainer, dressed in black and had this air about her... like it pulsed with power... she gave me the HM cut and looked at me like... I can't describe it.  So after shaking off her presence the first thing that I wanted to do was  training... the worst idea I have ever had which I blame for the lack of sleep. I decided to see Natalie's potential and let her fight... She was happy. Then it came along... A Meditite with a grudge against flying types. It didn't give her a chance... One attack... and... Her wings... her head... they all just... I don't know what happened. She was dead... her wings bent in awkward angles, head broken and blood rushing from her single fanged mouth... She had dreams and they ended there... her dream was to finally travel, travel out of her region and around the globe. No one was happy... we held nothing back as we nearly every pokemon we found I don't remember much but it is a blur... However Sari... attempted to comfort me. Word dripping with blood and a will to slaughter all in the sweet soothing voice she had. When we went to the gym I think I blacked out... but I remember someone crying and blood coating the walls... I let Sari take point and she mutilated a Turtwig into critical condition I was given a badge by a very... angry gym leader... And here I am back in the Center in a dimly lit room writing... I think I need to wash off the blood on my jacket... or just take it off and burn it. Well Good night.

Well, made it to Hearthome City, after saving the cycle shop keeper from some really REALLY badly dressed people. Who designs clothes like that anyway? Sari seems more upbeat since yesterday while everyone else including myself felt awful at the gym. Can't worry about it now I have to focus... Well I would but I needed to see a place before I left Eterna and need ended up having me bump into a butler at the old chateau  which was actually a Gastly named Eclipse he was here when the chateau was being used and misses the old days. I departed Eterna then and made my way to Hearthome. Hearthome usually brings back some sour memories seeing as since my mom is one of the best pokemon coordinators I was expected to excel in that department as well. Well I don't instead I devoted my time into studies and pokemon battles. When I got there Tyrus came out of nowhere knocking both of us onto the ground and then promptly challenged me to a battle, much to my dismay. In the end I came out on top though he was determined to become champion when I reminded him to help with research he brushed it off since he never received a pokedex. We talked for a bit after I yelled at him for a bit and then I ended up receiving an egg from a hiker. Tyrus was jealous about me somehow meeting all the nice people. (Heh, I wonder why)

We parted ways then and went around the town on my bike for a change deciding to actually talk to a few people I knew. What surprised me was when the egg hatched and behold I now have probably the CUTEST Happiny ever! I happily named her sammi and she responded well with the name. We went to amity square then cause... I never have been there before cause they won't let trainers without "Cute" pokemon in. Sammi was adorable as she played in the park. It really lifted my spirits too which I needed. when she feel asleep I knew I had to bring her to the center where the rest of my pokemon were and let her sleep there.

Nico and I traveled to Contest hall and met Fantina who remembered me when I was dragged to my Mom's performances and speaking of which mom was there too and insisted I try out the taking part of the contest. Scratch that BOTH Fantina and Mom INSISTED I try ONE contest. So I went with Nico back stage to dress him up and change into a suit my mom got for me... I wish they allowed hats in during performances. Well I did the best with what I could work with and apparently I made Fantina and Mom proud when really me and Nico were just trying to not look bad. We won a ribbon for it. Man glad I don't have to that again. Well Hearthome has been interesting maybe I should hang out with people I know tomorrow. -taped to the page is a Normal Cool Contest Ribbon on it is engraved the name: Nico-
